Dr. Festus Olowogboyega Oyebade

National President


Dr Oyebade, a native of Ibokun in Obokun Local Government Area, was born at Orile Owu in Ayedaade Local Government Area of the state on March 24, 1962. He joined the civil service on January 11, 1991 through the Local Government Service Commission of the old Oyo State and was among Osun indigenes who returned home as pioneer workers of the newly created state on August 27, 1991.

Oyebade has Nigeria Certificate in Education and a BSc. Education (Geography) from Adeyemi College of Education Ondo . He got Masters of Education in Educational Management, Masters of Arts in Peace and Conflict Studies as well as Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Management all from the University of Ibadan.
He enrolled for Law programmes and bagged LLB (Law), LLM (Law), M. Philosophy (Law) and Ph. D (Law) of the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2005.
He had his elementary education at St. Peter’s Anglican Primary School, Orile-Owu between 1968 and 1973 before proceeding to Apostolic Secondary Modern School, Orile-Owu and Orile-Owu Grammar School between 1973 and 1979 for his post-primary education.
He had a stint at the Local Authority Teachers Training College, Iyana-Offa, Ibadan, between 1979 and 1980 before attending Adeyemi College of Education in Ondo for the National Certificate in Education (NCE) between 1981 and 1984. He observed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps in Damaturu in old Borno State (present-day Yobe State) between 1984 and 1985.
He taught at Command Children's School between 1980 and 1981. Also he taught at Government Teachers College Damaturu, Osun State College of Education, Ilesa, National Open University.
He is a former Secretary to the State Government of Osun State and retired as the Head of Service of Osun State. Currently, he is a lecturer in Faculty of Law of the Osun State University.
He has visited many countries located in different countries of the world.
He is married and blessed with children.
A former Secretary to Osun State Government, former Head of Service of Osun State, Union Leader, A Human Right Lawyer, Politician and educationist with two Ph.D. degrees.

Dr. Olusegun Owolewa

National Vice President


Olusegun Owolewa, PhD was born into the family of Chief Alfred O. and Chief Mrs. R. O. Owolewa, a retired Headmaster and a Community Leader in the riverine community of Sabom- Apoi, in Ese-Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State, Nigeria. He trained as a teacher at the then Adeyemi College, a foremost College of Education in Nigeria, now upgraded to the Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo; Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife; the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, and Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria. He is an educational linguist interested in critical listening, health literacy, and classroom pedagogy. He is a seasoned University administrator who has served as Dean, Student Affairs, Ag. Director, Centre for Distance Learning, Ag. Head, Department of Arts Education. Presently, he serves as Director, Institute of Education, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, where he supervises Distance Learning Programmes, and Colleges of Education running Undergraduate and Postgraduate Diploma Programmes in affiliation with Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko. He has published several articles in both International and Nigerian academic journals. He has mentored many Undergraduate and Postgraduate students who are doing very well in their human endeavours. Olusegun loves swimming, dancing, and singing.
Dr Owolewa has contributed to the expanding circles of knowledge as he has successfully supervised over 15 M.Ed and 3 PhD students. He has also published over forty articles in both local and international journals

Dr. Omotayo K. Charles

National Secretary


Dr. Omotayo Kolawole Charles is a lecturer of History and Diplomatic Studies and Deputy Director of the Directorate of Gender and Sustainable Development Studies at the Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo. He started his career as a Field Research Fellow for the European Research Council sponsored international collaborative project between Osun State University, Nigeria and University of Birmingham, UK. The project titled “knowing each other: Every-day religious encounters, social Identities and Tolerance in South-West Nigeria” took him to more than fifty communities in South West Nigeria for field work between March 2012 and February 2017. For five years, the team conducted research on various themes collectively and individually. Personally, he worked on “trade and religion in southeast Yoruba land” and also on “the spread of Sango, other Orisa, Islam and Christianity in Yoruba land; East and West”. In 2017/2018, he was appointed as part of the Field Research Team for the French Institute for Research in Africa (IFRA), funded research on “Sacred Urbanism: Entrepreneurial Religion, Infrastructure and the New Urbanism in Nigeria.” He joined the services of McPherson University as a Lecturer of the Department of History and International Studies in 2018 and left for Adeyemi Federal University of Education in 2019. In 2023, he was appointed as a Doctoral Fellow and Field Researcher of the University of Leeds Arts and Humanities Research Institute (LAHRI) and the Leeds University Centre of African Studies (LUCAS) International Research Project with partnership with Osun State University (UNIOSUN) on “The Globalisation of African Religion and the Post-colonial Resurgence of Yoruba Traditional Religious Practices.” His research works have been published by reputable international outlets such as the Yoruba Studies Review, Journal of African Cultural Studies, and Journal of Cultural Econom, among others. He is the founder of The Research Society, formerly known as History Research Society, an academic association that promotes the spirit of inquiry and research in students.

Okunola Abimbola-Awoyera(Mrs)

National Assistant Secretary


Abimbola is a native of Apomu in Osun State,Nigeria. She studied English Language in Education at Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo now Adeyemi Federal University of Education,Ondo and graduated from there in the year 2009. She is presently working with Oyo State TESCOM in Queen of Apostles Secondary Commercial Grammar School, Oluyoro, Oke-Ofa. She is happily married to Mr. Oluseyi Awoyera.

Hon. Princess E.P. Akinrinmade

National Financial Secretary


She is a graduate of history from Adeyemi College of Education now Adeyemi federal university of education, a deputy Chief Tutor at TESCOM, ONDO state and a former Special Assistant to the former Governor of ONDO state ( His Excellency Dr olu Segun Mimiko. Hon. Princess Akinrinmade is a Grassroot politician, mobilizer and Community leader. She is an advocate for women and girl child empowerment and presently the Coordinator of Coalition of Teachers in Ondo State. She is into event management and fashion designing. She is currently running a master program in Guidance and Counseling.

Com. Olushola C Eniola ESQ

National Treasurer


Comrade Clement Eniola Olushola Esq. (a.k.a. Pledo) born at Akure, Ondo State is a Community leader, Unionist and Activist who lives with a dignified integrity. He had his Primary Education at Ebenezer African Church Primary School, Akure, Ondo State before proceeding to Ijo Mimo Oluwa High School, Akure, Ondo State for his Secondary Education and later passed out at Erin Community Grammar School, Erin – Ijesha, Osun State before moving in search of Tertiary Education to Adeyemi College of Education, Obafemi Awolowo University, National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration, Adekunle Ajasin University, National Open University of Nigeria, University of Benin, the Nigerian Law School and presently a student of Adekunle Ajasin University. He possessed NCE (English/Geography), B.Sc(Ed) Geography, Diploma in Computer Science, Masters in Environmental Management, LL.B and LL.M in Law and currently, a PhD in Law Student. While at Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, he served in the capacities of Secretary – Oduduwa Hall of Residence, Member – Students Representative Council (SRC) and Deputy Director of Welfare of the Students Union Government between 1992 - 1994. It is on sound note that he was part of the struggle for the reinstatement of the expelled “Adeyemi 7”. He was a Class Representative at different stages in the Departments of English Language and Geography just as he was the National Publicity Secretary of the National Association of Geography Students while in the College. He started his working career with the Confidence Insurance Company as an Insurance Agent before he was appointed as a Member of the Ondo State Youth Consultative Forum. While still serving, he was elected as the Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ondo State Chapter. He was later appointed by the Ondo State Civil Service Commission and have been in the service of Ondo State Government for over 27years, where he had served in the Education Sector as an Assistant Education Officer, Education Officer, HOD - School Services Department, HOD - Personnel Department, HOD - Planning, Research & Statistics Department and Area Mass Literacy Officer at different Local Government Education Authorities / Areas and the headquarters of the State Primary Education Board and Agency for Adult and Non-Formal Education, Ondo State before been deployed as a Meteorologist to Ministry of Environment where he also served for 12years as Deputy Director (Department of Ecology), Director (Department of Planning, Research & Statistics) and Director (Department of Ecology) before moving to Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry where he served as the Director of Planning Research and Statistics Department. Presently, he is he Administrative Secretary of the Agency for the Welfare of Persons with Disabilities. Comrade C. E. Olushola, an erudite Unionist and a community leader, belongs to some different Professional bodies, Societies, Clubs, Voluntary Organizations and Associations such as the Nigerian Civil Service Union, Ondo State, Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria, Ondo State, Association of Environmental Lawyers of Nigeria, Institute of Chattered Mediators and Conciliators to mention a few, where he had served in the past and still serving in some, at various capacities such as Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary and Ex-Officio. He had attended and participated in series of Local, State and International Conferences, Seminars, Meetings and Conventions. Comrade C. E. Olushola Esq., happily married and blessed with children is the current National Treasurer of the Adeyemi Federal University of Education Alumni.

Hon. Omoloye Ezekiel Oluwatuyi

Omoloye Ezekiel Oluwatuyi was born in Akure in April, 1968. He holds a Bachelor degree of Art in Education from Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo( Now, Adeyemi Federal University of Education). He is a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria, Associate member, Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and Affiliate member, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria. He is an Adviser and Patron to so many organisations He is currently serving as Member of Ondo state Customary Court and executive of Association of Customary Courts Members, Ondo State As an activist, Omoloye was the president of Students Union Government while in Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo between 1997 and 1998. As an astute administrator, he was an Administrative Manager of Owena Press, the publishers of Hope Newspapers (Ondo state Newspapers) between 1999 and 2009. He has served as secretary to so many organisations and associations. He is a reputable community leader with a difference. Omoloye is the Managing Director of DSTE Golden Ventures (a Printing & Publishing Company) and C.E.O of DSTEAF AgroFarms and Property Investment Ltd which specializes in Crop planting, Grasscutters rearing, Bee Keeping & Honey production and farm & property investment & Management. He has so many awards to his credit. He is married with children.

Mrs Iyanda Idayat Adenike

National Social and Welfare Director


She is a teacher at Bishop Phillips Academy, Iwo Road in Ibadan. She started her teaching career in 1995 at Fazl - Omar Ahmadiyya Nursery and primary school where she taught all levels of pre- school, Nursery and Primary classes in various subjects. She later joined the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission in the year 2000. She is diligent in her work so much so that she was tagged 'a teacher that knows her students even with their hand writings' Her zeal for her chosen career has taken her to seminars, workshops, conferences in various parts of the country. Her hobbies include farming, reading, singing, dancing, events planning, sewing to mention but a few. She is currently the Vice president of Home Economics Teachers Association of Nigeria, Oyo State branch.

Barr. Olamilekan Ibraheem

Mukhaila Ibrahim Olamilekan was born on 10th July, 1972 into the family of Mukhaila at Ile-Ife in Osun State. He started his Primary Education in 1977 at L.E.A Primary School Garo, in Kano State. Later, he furthered his Secondary School education at Ayanbeku Memorial Grammar School in Ifetedo in Osun State between 1979 and 1982. He proceeded to the University at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife between 1987 and 2002. He acquired his B.A Education Degree in English Language in year 1991. He bagged a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management in 1995. He studied Law at Obafemi Awolowo University and bagged Bachelors of Law (LL.B) in 2002 and Barrister at Law (BL) in 2004. He started his career at N.Y.S.C Directorate Headquarters in Abuja between 1991 and 1992 as Youth Corps Liason Officer in Katsina State. Also, he worked at Ade Esan Accounting Firm at Mokola, Ibadan as Auditor before settling down to practise Law
